Burning KeyboardWelcome to the new home of Falcor Systems!

Please don't mind the dust as we are currently working on site improvements. You may notice that only certain pages work while others are not currently active. We will be making those pages available over the course of the next few weeks.

In the meantime, please feel free to browse our web site and see the new functionality that has been added as well as the new information. We have redesigned our site not only to educate our clients, but also to improve the efficiency with which you may move about.

If you happen to stumble across an error, please feel free to report it via our 'Email' page.

While we were designing our site, we decided to avoid a large, presentation-style web site which can take quite a while to load and will not always display properly on some operating systems and/or broswer combinations. For a while, we debated using a content management system (or CMS) like Joomla or e107. We looked at some local companies' sites and scripts and came to a very quick conclusion: These things are confusing! Who would want to force their customers to wade through all of their useless and repetitious information?! Instead, we opted to design our site from scratch using more "core" web design technologies as well as some new technologies to help improve the site's visual appearance. For example, most of our site is designed using CSS, Javascript, HTML, and PHP. These are some of what we consider "core" technologies. With new technologies in mind, we are pleased to support and use swfIR (or swf Image Replacement) for all of the content images throughout our site! We are also currently researching the use, implementation, and effects of sIFR (or Scalable Inman Flash Replacement) to replace all of the content text.

Needless to say, we are very excited about the potential of our site as well as the countless technologies used to make it, not to mention the simplicity of the design and the "flow" of the information contained within. We hope you enjoy viewing it as much as we enjoyed designing it.
